Management
He served as Member of the Management Board from 1993, after which he became the company's commercial proxy. He was appointed President of the Board in 2009.
His studies at the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow were interrupted by his trip to the United States where he worked for Whyte company. The time spent in the US was the main driving force that encouraged him to start his own business. The experience he gained allowed him to open a new enterprise. In 1992, together with his brother Jerzy, they decided to register Nowy Styl sp. z o.o.
In 1999 Adam Krzanowski was awarded the first prize in competition Young Business Achiever, in the category Top Achievement.
In 2004 the Polish Confederation of Private Employers honoured him with Andrzej Wierzbicki award for creating a thriving company and adhering to the principles of business ethics; in the same year he also received the Kisiel Award for "capitalism in good style".
And since work is not everything – winemaking is Adam Krzanowski's greatest passion which he fulfils by running his own vineyards in which he makes his own wine.
From 1993 he was the Director of Nowy Styl sp. z o.o.; in 2001 he became the company's commercial proxy. He took his current position in 2009.
Jerzy's previous experience, gained in running his own business, helped to launch Nowy Styl, the company he established together with his brother nearly 20 years ago. Before that, Jerzy Krzanowski had owned a catering business.
In 1995 the provincial governor of Krosno awarded him the title of the Man of the Year.
In 2004 he received Andrzej Wierzbicki award from the Polish Confederation of Private Employers.
Jerzy Krzanowski follows his greatest passion – working for the local community – in the town of Krosno. It was there that he initiated the establishment of the Podkarpacie Business Club and founded the Korczak Foundation providing support to children and young people.
And what about spare time? He likes to spend it travelling, fishing and playing tennis.
He is a graduate of the Mechanical Faculty at the Rzeszów University of Technology.
He has been working for the Nowy Styl Group since 2008. Initially he held the position of Assistant Operational Director and in 2010 he assumed full responsibility as Operational Director and became Member of the Board for the Group.
Before that, he had worked for Delphi Automotive Systems Poland for 11 years, occupying the positions of Quality Director, Logistics Director and Operational Director. He completed the Delphi Management Program held by ESSEC Management Education with a distinction.
His daily work includes overseeing teams at 7 manufacturing plants and the Divisions: Technical, Logistics, Quality and HR.
In spite of all his duties he always finds the time for hobbies: long-distance running and skiing.
A graduate of the Academy of Economics in Krakow, he also studied in Nuremberg and at the Warsaw School of Economics. He has been associated with the Nowy Styl Group ever since 2003.
Initially, he was involved in building overseas distribution network in the western countries and exercising owner's supervision over that network. Later he served as Sales Director and Member of the Management Board at Baltic Wood SA for one year.
He has been in his current position from the beginning of 2009. His daily work includes supervising Sales Divisions in Poland and abroad as well as the Marketing Division.
His special areas of interest are distribution strategy on an international scale and looking for new development concepts for the Nowy Styl Group.
Passion for his family – wife and two daughters. He enjoys traveling and good cuisine.
